You see, I've experienced so many hardships in my life: molestation, foster care, being a teen mom, abandonment, rejection, betrayal, and even divorce. I was told I would never be anybody, that I'd just end up on welfare and become another statistic. But let me tell you, those experiences were only the beginning of my story. 

Going through my divorce was a turning point for me. I realized I didn't know myself outside of my marriage, children, and career as a registered nurse. I was just existing, not living out my purpose. My dreams and goals lay dormant deep inside, held back by limiting beliefs, self-sabotage, and a lack of confidence.

But then God used my 7-year-old daughter to give me hope. Despite the pain of my divorce, she encouraged me to create a vision board, and that simple act changed my life. Proverbs 29:18 says, "Where there is no vision, the people perish." Before my vision board, I was perishing, unable to see beyond my pain, hurt, and despair.

Today, I am the creator of the "Prayer Vision Box," a best-selling author, actress, and transformational coach. I teach women to reinvent themselves by building self-confidence, implementing self-love, and walking boldly in their purpose. God turned my pain into purpose, my sadness into strength, and my dark places into my destiny.
